AI-Powered Features (Penny Shopping Assistant)
When you use Penny, our AI shopping assistant, we process your queries using artificial intelligence to provide personalized deal recommendations.
What Information We Collect

- • Session IDs to maintain conversation continuity
- • Anonymized usage data to improve Penny's accuracy
How We Process This Information
- • Your queries are sent to OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini) to generate personalized recommendations
- • Intent classification uses Amazon Nova Lite via OpenRouter to understand follow-up questions
- • Conversation history is stored in our secure database (Supabase) for up to 24 hours
- • We analyze patterns to improve Penny's recommendations over time
- • We do not use Penny chat data to train or fine-tune AI models
